Washington, DC –  Refugee Council USA’s board of directors has voted unanimously to welcome AlightCommunity Sponsorship Hub, and Talent Beyond Boundaries as new members of RCUSA.

“I am thrilled to welcome Alight, Community Sponsorship Hub, and Talent Beyond Boundaries to RCUSA,” said Executive Director John Slocum.  “These new members each bring unique strengths to the tasks of ensuring protection, welcoming, inclusion, and opportunity for forcibly displaced people. They extend the reach and expertise of the RCUSA coalition, and I very much look forward to working in coalition with them in the months and years ahead”

Alight is a network of organizations that works closely with forcibly displaced people, trafficked persons, and economic migrants, to co-design solutions that help them build full and fulfilling lives.

Community Sponsorship Hub works to enhance the role of communities in the welcoming of refugees and other forcibly displaced people in the United States. Their mission is to mobilize civil society and the public, private, and philanthropic sectors and empower them with resources and access to shape and coordinate a community sponsorship system that leverages the power of welcoming Americans.

Talent Beyond Boundaries works with governments, partners, and the private sector to ensure that refugees have equitable access to skilled migration as a complementary pathway out of displacement.
