RCUSA Welcomes Olga Diaz-Nasser as Program Assistant

Washington, DC – Refugee Council USA is pleased to announce that Olga Diaz-Nasser has joined its staff as Program Assistant, with a particular focus on RCUSA’s role in the National Refugee Leadership and Lived Experience Councils (NRLLEC) program. A Master’s Degree holder in Public Administration from the University of Georgia, Olga has first-hand experience working in public policy through her internship at the Office of Congresswoman Lucy McBath. Prior to joining RCUSA, Olga served as the State and Local Initiatives Senior Intern with the American Immigration Council, where she assisted with state legislative tracking and strategic outreach for stakeholder engagement. Olga also previously worked with the National Hispanic Media Coalition, where she focused on coalition building to increase Latinx representation in the publishing industry. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Olga to the staff of Refugee Council USA,” says Executive Director John Slocum. “Her extensive experience in advocacy, her coalition-building mentality, as well as her eye toward public service will help ensure the success of RCUSA programming.”
