Washington, DC – RCUSA has released its year-end review of US refugee resettlement numbers for Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23). President Biden had set the refugee admissions goal for FY23 at 125,000 and a total of 60,014 refugees were resettled by the close of the fiscal year on September 30th. While the administration has ushered through significant strides in rebuilding the resettlement pipeline and capacity, the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) still needs additional administrative and Congressional support in order to meet the FY24 goal.
